The Cat Protection Society of Victoria (CPSV) is thrilled to launch its delightful Kitten Cuddle Challenge, inviting cat enthusiasts across metro Melbourne to join in this heartwarming fundraiser. Running from now until November 10, the event aims to generate crucial funds for CPSV, with participants having the chance to win a special visit from a group of playful kittens at their home or workplace.
Individuals, workplaces, and organizations are encouraged to register their fundraising efforts throughout September. Two winners will be chosen based on the total funds raised, while another two will be selected for their most creative and touching fundraising activities. CPSV’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Rachel Bitzilis, emphasizes the joy and meaningful impact of this initiative, highlighting how it combines fun with philanthropy.
Tracking progress will be easy through CPSV’s dedicated webpage, with four lucky winners announced in early December. The prize includes a visit from a litter of adorable kittens, offering a unique team-building experience or a chance for families to consider kitten adoption. Bitzilis expresses excitement over the enthusiasm and inventive approaches to fundraising, noting that every contribution helps care for and rehome vulnerable kittens.
Foster Care and Animal Behaviour Coordinator Chloe Harcourt adds that participating in the challenge not only supports CPSV but also offers numerous benefits for mental and physical well-being. Spending time with cats can alleviate stress, enhance mood, and improve overall health by lowering blood pressure and boosting the immune system.
